Introduction
Sir William Priestley was the Morecambe Fisherman’s lifeboat. At least 10 boats have built from moulds taken off the Sir William in 1979 by Eric Bergqvist. In 1987 Classic Yachts of Southampton launched Freda class based on the design of the Sir William, though only one boat Freda was ever built. Scroll down to find out more
